Laundry is one of the most tiring and time-consuming household chores. But with a few small adjustments, you can make this task much more manageable and less stressful.

Here are 10 valuable tips for stress-free laundry!

1. Organize the laundry

Sort clothes by color, material and level of soiling. Dedicating different baskets or bags for each category will save you precious time when you have to load the washing machine.

2. Take advantage of the prewash

For particularly dirty items, a prewash cycle can work wonders. Soak your clothes in warm water with a little detergent for 30 minutes before the actual wash.

3. Use the right one temperature

Always check clothing labels to set the correct temperature. In general, use cold water for dark and delicate colors, lukewarm for resistant colors and hot only for dirty whites.

4. Don’t overload the washing machine

Leave enough space in the washer for clothes to move freely. Overloading it reduces the effectiveness of the wash and can damage your clothes.

5. Add softener natural

Instead of using chemical softeners, try adding half a cup of white vinegar to the appropriate container. It will make your clothes soft naturally.

6. Don’t use too much detergent

Excess detergent can leave residue on clothes and cause allergies. Always use the recommended amount and prefer hypoallergenic detergents if you have sensitive skin.

7. Immediately lay out the cloths

As soon as you finish washing, hang or hang your clothes to prevent them from wrinkling. If possible, take advantage of the sun and open air for fresh, fragrant laundry.
